Wen Sits At A Restaurant Table With Some Members Of His Family. For A Celebration Dinner.
There was a different restaurant chosen for the evening meal that Wen hosted for his family and friends. This restaurant was alongside a small stream that flowed through the mountain village. It was a new restaurant that was significantly an indication of how the fortunes of the mountain village had improved over the years that Wen had not been living at home. It was a very popular restaurant, particularly during the celebrations of the Chinese New Year. The restaurant was suitably decorated with buntings, colored lights, and red lanterns, and many customers gathered in the courtyard waiting for the restaurant to open, some sitting on the stone wall at the side of the small stream. The sound of fireworks could be heard, a very important part of the Chinese New Year celebrations, and in this particular area, pollution was not so much a problem, as it appears to be in some of the big cities in China
Seated at the table in the restaurant there was time before the meal was to start, to talk about the ''old days'' when life in Wen's home town was less bountiful than it is at the present time. There were many questions raised that brought about laughter in the answers, a result that is evident in any country of the world! The dinner was a time to enjoy the company of family and friends and to exchange experiences that had happened during the years of absence.

Wen was not the only one who had returned to his home town, another friend had been in a different country, so they spent some time comparing experiences; some good and some not so good!
