New Housing Estate On Mountain Viewed From Dengfeng Pagoda.
There are many new housing estates in the big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Nanning, to name only a few, but the housing estates we saw in these cities were more often than not, replacing old houses that had been demolished. From the site of the Pagoda on a hilltop in Dengfeng could also be seen a new housing estate, there was nothing new about that, but to see this housing estate built away from the bustle of city life in Dengfeng, was something different.
This housing estate would certainly appeal to people seeking a certain amount of privacy. The housing estate would provide accommodation within easy travelling distance of the city for anyone having business work to attend to. At a guess, it is reasonable to assume that the people living in this housing estate, would be of a particular class having a higher level of disposable income.
