The Artistic Architecture And Decoration Of The Pagoda Admired By Chinese People.
The view of the Pagoda from the City Square in Dengfeng City does not compare with the views presented on a close-up
inspection. The workmanship in building the Pagoda was undoubtedly professional and completed by craftsmen who were proud of the skills
they possessed. The design of the pagoda in Dengfeng, with its many stories, was similar to other pagodas seen in different parts of the
country. The artistic decoration with many colorful designs and pictures, had their own specific meanings, particularly to the Chinese people
visiting this Pagoda.
The color red dominates the artistic features of the Dengfeng Pagoda, and with half round roof tiles, upturned eaves, with models of dragons and foo dogs on ridges, this is surely classic Chinese architecture used in the building of Pagodas.
