Malaysian Wedding Traditions Followed In Celebrations In Malaysian Food Festival In Guangzhou Hotel.

Photo of some of the Buffet dishes of food prepared for celebration of a Malaysian Foof Festival in Baiyun Hotel, Guangzhou. When we were invited to a Buffet dinner party in celebration of a Malaysian Food Festival, we did not expect to witness a Malaysian Wedding Ceremony during the evening. We were amongst the first guests to arrive at the restaurant, so had plenty of time to inspect the Malaysian food that had been prepared, as part of the customs and ceremony that was soon to start. The dishes of food, some unknown Malaysian food, laid out on the tables, were like works of art, and were perfect examples of the skills and prepartion taken by the Chef and Cooks.

Photo shows Malaysian bride and groom in colourful silk gowns, taking part in a Malaysian Food Festival celebration, Undoubtedly, the highlight of the evening, was the arrival of the Malaysian Bride and Groom, in traditional Malaysian dress, ready to demonstrate to the guests present, some of the Malaysian wedding customs and traditions. The wedding dress of the bride was very colorful, much different to the white dress of the western brides. The bridegroom wore a wedding gown in a distinctive color, perhaps as a symbol to demonstrate his important position.

Photo of dish of food at a buffet dinner celebrating a Malaysian Food Festival. A very colorful presentation, like a work of art, too good to eat! The celebrations of a Malaysian Food Festival, in the form of a Buffet Dinner Party at the Baiyun Hotel in Guangzhou, certainly gave the Chef and Cooks wonderful opportunities to display their skills in the dishes provided for the party guests. Some of the items used for the dish shown in the photo, might well have been grown locally, or examples of some exotic Malaysian food, but the presentation was like a work of art.
