Chinese Children Play On Load Of Sand Outside School Grounds.

Why there was a load of sand dumped outside school grounds was unknown, but it was welcomed by two Chinese children for playing their game. There were signs that this school was a happy place, inside and out, by chance or design.

School should be a place of interest and adventure, particularly for the very young, starting to take on knowledge that should guide them through their lives. It is said that in the early years, we learn faster than at any time of our lives. If our early school days are happy ones, then gaining more knowledge becomes an interesting challenge, not a tiresome necessity. The Chinese school at Chi Dian, on the face of it, was a school where children could spend their formative years, being happy children.
